Thurs May 14 – on our own – we will do things in Jerusalem. We will try to go to Yad Vashem and Ammunition Hill.

Fri May 15 Old City part 1

9 AM Meet at Jaffa Gate

Ir David – including water tunnel (bring water shoes, flashlights if you like otherwise they sell theme for about a dollar each)

Southern Wall Excavations

12:30 Sharp Kotel tunnels

Finish around 2

Shabbat May 16 – on our own

Sunday May 17 – on our own – we will go to some museums and do more things in Jerusalem

Monday May 18 – Masada, Dead Sea, Ein Gedi

Departure 9 am from Jerusalem

Hike at Ein Gedi

Tour of Masada

Pack a lunch or you can eat at the restaurant at Masada which is Rabbanut but has a Lubavitcher Mashgiach (Chezi Sosonkin) who can advise which things are up to Chabad Standards.

Dip in the Dead Sea

Bring water shoes, or crocs or flip flops to go in the Dead sea as well as bathing suits, towels etc. There is a separate beach we can go to if you like

Wednesday May 20th North Day 1

Depart Jerusalem 8 AM

10:30 -1:30 Tzfat – Walking tour of Historic synagogues, Artist colony, Ancient cemetery, Ari Mikvah

Lunch in Tzfat

2-2:30 Kever Rashbi

3:15-5 Tiberias, Short walking tour and Kever of Rambam and/or short boat ride on the Kinneret

6 -6:40 Mt. Bental

7 Bnb in Katzrin for the night. Dinner there.

Go to supermarket in Katzrin to purchase food for day 2. There aren’t really any Mehadrin restaurants for lunch on day 2.

Thursday May 21st North Day 2

8:30 Departure

See tanks from Yom Kippur war

9-10:30 Ancient Katzrin (Talmudic Village)

12-1:30 Rosh Hanikra

2-3 Acre – Either we’ll see the Tunisian Synagogue or else a few things in the Old City, whichever you prefer

3:30 – 4 Short stop in Haifa for view (if we’re still on schedule)

4:30 – 6:00 Caesarea – Tour of the national park

6-6:30 short stop at the Aqueduct Beach for picnic dinner or snack before late dinner in Jerusalem

8 PM back in Jerusalem

Fri, Shabbat, Shavuot May 22 23 24 – on our own

Monday May 25 – Old City Part 2

Four Quarters Tour including:

• Ramparts Walk (View of the Christian Quarter from atop the walls)
• Walk through Moslem Quarter
• Kotel Hakatan
• Houses of Cohanim from 2nd Temple
• Tour of the Temple Institute exhibition
• Historic Synagogues: Churva, Tzemach Tzedek, Ramban etc.
• The Cardo
• Hezekiah’s wall
